Grilled Chicken Breasts with Honey Soy Glaze

For the honey soy glaze:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or peanut oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1. Whisk together the glaze ingredients.

For the chicken:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Honey Soy Glaze
In a baking dish, marinate the chicken breasts in the glaze for 30 minutes. Drain off the excess marinade. Grill or broil the breasts on both sides until cooked through, about 10 minutes total on the grill, about 16 minutes total in a preheated broiler. Be careful not to burn the chicken because the honey in the marinade can char easily. Move the chicken to a cooler part of the grill, if necessary. Cut into a breast to make sure no pink remains.
