Taco Salad

  • 1 can refried black beans
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tomatoes
  • hamburger meat
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • sour cream (or you can use plain yogurt)
  • shredded lettuce (or baby spinach)
  • 2 ears of corn (you can used canned corn, but with the summer, why not grill corn instead?)
  • taco bowls (if you can find them - tortilla chips if you can't)
  • salsa
Spray a heated pan with non-stick spray. Add the hamburger meat with seasonings of your choice (salt, pepper, garlic salt, steak rub) and cook through, stirring constantly so the meat stays crumbled. Put in a bowl.
Chop the tomatoes and put them in a bowl
Chop the avocado and put it in a bowl
Put the sour cream, cheddar cheese, heated refried black beans, corn, shredded lettuce, and salsa in their own bowls

Place the taco shells on plates.
Put all the taco salad fixings on the table and let everyone make their own taco-masterpiece.
